EGT Probe questions
Hi guys, I know this has probably been covered many times, but my time window today doesn't allow for hours of searching through threads. I am looking to install my EGT probe today, and was just wondering what the safest/easiest way to drill and tap the manifold is. I have heard different ways and both say don't use the opposing. I have heard to drill 2 sizes and grease the bit and tap, and then I'v heard use multiple bits in small steps with no grease then magnet and vacuum out the hole. This process has me terrified because I can't afford a new turbo at this time if I screw up. Sorry for the long post, just worried. Thanks alot for any light you can shed on the process for me!

Here is a LINK to a thread that I believe will answer you questions. Good luck.

I've heard to do it in steps and to not use grease since it would be defeating the drill bits design of clearing out the cut material.
