Thoughts on 2010 Tailgate for my 06

I have a local guy who will sell me a new take off 2010 tailgate, 10 tail lights, and the trunion for 500. No step. I would have to paint it to match my truck (about 200 in materal). Worth it to you?

Well, I smashed one on my 03 gasser. So I figure I will upgrade my 06 and put the 06 on the 03.

dooo it!!!! haha but not for 500 and its the plain jane one way too much money doesnt matter if its a brand new take off anyways you still have to sand down and paint it ...utaf350 has a couple around that price with a step and a camera .... imho too much money for the plain one

Not for $500. I got this tailgate on craigslist for about $300. Just keep looking.

$500 seems kinda high especially if you are going to have to spend another $200 to paint it.

I got a black 08 tailgate for my truck for $80 off of craigslist because it has one small dent about the size of a quarter and a couple small chips in the paint. I am going to sand it down and paint it myself which I figure is going to cost me about $150 plus my time.
