cfm plus smallmouth intake? worth getting?

I've been tossing around the idea of getting a cfm plus smallmouth intake for my 6.0. I was wondering if anybody has one and has noticed performance differences with it or if the advertisements we're all hype. Please feel free to share your opinions on this maybe there is something better out there?

Thanks,
Adam

You won't see any performance gains with an intake elbow, other than the slight improvement due to weight reduction in your wallet.

Seriously though, I put on the full Banks Technicooler system with intercooler, larger pipes, and larger elbow, and noticed nothing performance-wise. The intercooler lowered EGTs, but that was it.

good to know... lol so much for the 40% increase in flow and all the hp and torque improvments... that sucks

Thanks,
Adam

I have a CFM+ Largemouth on my truck with the upgraded intercooler to elbow pipe. The carbon fiber elbow looks nicer. The upgraded pipe is a pain in the a$$, doesn't fit quite right, and you have to hack off the air cleaner support from the battery box to get it to work at all. And as Cartmanea says, all for no improvement other than lightening your wallet. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.
