Newbie needs advice.. To buy or not to buy??
looking for advice..
Today I went to look at a 2005 lariet F350 crew cab, Diesel dully with 96K Miles.. The asking price is 22000..The price is below NADA(27K).. And salesman already said they wont budge on price It has issues.. Needs tires, Needs batteries, Brakes feel a little soft, rear parking assist keeps turning itself off and body has some nicks(No dents or rust)..(dealer says he will fix everything but I don't believe him) Didn't get to drive it much just around the block but seemed tight and handled well.. I intend to see it again tomorrow and take it for a longer ride... So question is.. With all theses imperfections is this still a good deal?? for the $ Also anything I should look for tomorrow during my test ride and what to look for when I get it on the lift.. Thanks in advance |

2wd or 4wd? That will make a big difference in price. I'd say you need to be more around 20,000 if its 4wd and with everything fixed except tires and brakes. If he replaces tires and brakes along with all the other, i'd say thats gettin close to a descent price...if he fixes it like you said.

I bought my 03 in 08. 50k on the odometer and in absolute showroom condition. No dents scratches, nothing. New tires and brakes ect.. Eat of the floor. I paid 24k.
I would say its right there but maybe try to weasle them. I would work them for tires at least. Thats a big expense on a DRW. |
