EGT Probe Hole
So after a long battle of problems with my truck my chip has got to go...
I have an 06 stroker with an edge chip/monitor. I had to have FCIM re-flashed and EGR valve replaced by the dealer and was told that my programmer would no longer work as is. I am going to pull the whole thing just to save the headache and money dealing with getting my programmer updated (or what ever need be to make it work again). My question is what do I do about the hole that is in my exhaust manifold from the EGT probe? |

I believe that your probe has a pipe tread on it. So you should be able to just put a plug in it.

if the hole is threaded, you can find a plug for it at any good parts store; or you could just get an egt gauge so you can still keep an eye on your temps.

Running your 6.0 without guages is not a very good idea at all. My 2 cents...
