Fuel Filters

Just wondering if anyone has bought the fuel filters on ebay for about 15 bucks? Do they work as good as the factory ones, or are they crappy? Any help would be great

Buy Motorcraft or International. They are the only two brands for the 6.0L IMO. I get mine from Dieselfiltersonlilne.com and i paid about 43.00 IIRC shipped for the international ones (same as motorcraft).

What brand filter? Motorcraft is probably best though it is likely identical to the Napa, etc branded filters. The only other company I can think of that sells fuel filters is aFe and I would trust those filters too.

The napa filters are nothing like the Motorcraft ones. They miss important things like the water separator membrane over the frame rail mounted fuel filter.

Racor makes the filter. So I would only trust racor, motorcraft or international. They are about 35-45 bucks at the international house. Ask for vt 275 filters.

This is what the ebay listing states "You are bidding on 1 set of FD4604 fuel filters Ford 6.0 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine." for about $21 shipped.

I saw that the motorcraft starts with the same part number but has additional numbers after it. But there is no brand name attached these as well.

I appreciate all the replies.
