Low Sulphur Diesel (500 PPM)...Will it hurt?
Long story short, I stumbled on a fuel station near my jobsite and they have LSD at their pumps. I know that ULSD is RECOMMENDED for 2007 and newer, but will the LSD hurt my truck at all? Will it foul/clog up the injectors or anything? I know more sulphur = more lubrication, but I don't know if there are certain parts that will be adversely affected by 500 PPM vs 15 PPM. Aslo, I'm running the Looney tune if that matters. Thanks

your 2007 doesn't count. When they say 2007, they mean like the LMM duramax that has a DPF and I think the 6.7 cummins had the DPF too. And also in late 07 the 08 6.4's were available too.
With that said, your 6.0 will run just fine on LSD, probably much better. |

There's no probably about it. It will run better on it.
However I would be skeptical that its actually 500ppm fuel. More than likely the station forgot to change the sticker

Thats what I was thinking, but the guy in the station didn't know jack sh!t about LSD 500 PPM vs ULSD 15 PPM . He said "all I can tell you for sure is that its not off road fuel"

If the price is right I would roll with it, even if it was ULSD
