i have a 05 ford excursion if i put 4.56 gears will i have a replace the stock locker?

how big of wheels and tires are you running that you think you'll need 4.56s?

4.56 is a perfect ratio for 37 inch tires... what stock locker you speak of? there is no stock locker, there is a stock weak Limitied slip system it has nothing to do with gear ratio, the gear bolt to the outside of it, however when re-gearing you/the shop will have to set all the parameters, so if you were ever going to get a locker or aftermarklet litmited slip front or rear, now would be the most cost effective time, as if you ever do it in future after you have done gears, you will have to pay for the same labor cost twice.
