New SCT tune scared wife this morning!

My wife drove the F250 to work this morning after I installed the new SCT TSX with custom tunes from Mike at MPT. I didn't get to drive it yesterday because of rain so I told her to be careful. She called this morning a little upset/frightened. She was going to pass someone on her way to work and she did the usual check the mirror signal hit the gas wait for the turbo to wake up and take you around the car. Except this time the turbo was already awake and when she gave it the gas expecting the lag to kick in the truck took off instead! She said she almost run over the little old ladies trunk in fromt of her. My truck is on 35's with a 6" lift, I could only imagine the rearview mirror image in that poor old ladies car. Ha! She says the truck is a monster and scary as hell!!! I can't wait til she gets home!!!!!

sweet!!!!!!!! my wife loves to drive mine now that shes used to it. my tunes are from matt at gearhead. good stuff!

We are all in the same boat i got my tunes last week from Eric at ID and man is there a difference. I love the new power level.... Does your TSX monitor your EOT correctly? cause mine won't. I have other PID's that are not correct like the injector pressure.

As far as monitoring goes, I drilled and tapped the manifold for the EGT sensor and I have pillar gauges for boost, trans, and fuel pressure. I have not had the chance to play around with all the monitoring on the TSX yet. I will check it out though and keep you posted.

I have some of his tunes too. I've only tried his street tune though, and its awsome!!

Is that the HOT file you have in?

No the tune in the truck right now is his economy tune. I had the HOT tune in it last night but the roads were wet and all it would do was spin and get sideways. The throttle response is instant though, I can't believe I waited this long to get a diesel.

I'm the same way...
This is the first diesel I've owned, but I've driven ford diesels for work alot, all were 7.3L's. This is the only 6.0L I've ever driven. It's many faults aside, I love the performance.

I gotta think if you don't put them through hell and service them like they should be done they will last a long time. Thats what I am hoping for anyways.
