Fixed everything I could... and love it!!!

So, i took my truck to the dealer a few weeks ago and gave them all the parts i had been compiling for about a month or so. I cant believe the difference in the truck... All I can say is i should have done this years ago. I am on a week trip as of now and will log about 3000 miles before I get home and I am already getting 17.5 miles to a gallon (by the lie-o-meter) and the power is incredible.

It was a hard pill to swallow, having to do all this work to a truck with only 58,000 mi, but i felt it was worth the investment in the long run, so while i was in for the oil cooler I did the EGR delete and the dummy plugs, ford fuel spring upgrade, ARP head studs, gaskets, had the drivers exhaust drilled for a EGT probe, hpop fitting upgrade, and the new HPOP screen.. I have a few squeaks that are new and i don't think the air is as cold as it was before but other than that I love it... enjoy.

The mechanic who recently did my motor work did it cab on, and his back sure was hating it...

The day after i got it home i installed the coolant filter, and the SCT-TSX with tunes from Eric at ID, and then i left two days later on this trip. I never thought i would get this kind of mileage with this truck i have never got better than 14 ever, and i am just on the street tune not the economy one.

Well, i made it home and all is well. I went back to the dealer and there was a few cab mounts that were lose (that was my creaking and squeaking) and the A/C was about 12 oz low on freon, now it is blowing 45 deg air in 95 deg weather. I installed my AEM stage2 air cleaner that came in while i was gone and it made the truck sound a little meaner towards the front but no other increases. All and all I love the peace of mind, even though my wallet is allot lighter.

Love it! Yea, I was losing coolent last Fall so had the EGR removed and ARP head studs installed. Makes me feel better about driving this truck for a long time.

Its great when I to the parts store for something and the little punk says "oh man, the 6 leaker". I like to tell them how its all fixed. Also, my upgrads probably cost more than the kid makes each quater. Freaking punks.
