Code reader?

What is a decent product, and decent price code reader or scanner? Any opinions? Looking at getting something to read codes, not that I need one right this minute... however this seems to be a very valuable item to have.

I have it and love it. For a DIY guy I think it is the best price around. But you do need a lap top to use it. Or a Palm Pilot thing.

When you first go into the system choose the anti-lock brake module, then select "test onboard systems". It will be one of the tests you can run there. I havent looked at it in a while but I believe it is set up for tire diameter in 1/2" increments. So know that before you go into it.
