HPOP replacement what else to do?

i've got my truck torn down to replace my hpop that failed. i don't just want to put it all back together as it came apart i would like to do some things while its apart. i was wondering how hard if it can be done to remove oil cooler and flush it out and clean it real good? i want to get my intake manifold hot tanked, heat wrap my intercooler pipes. just trying to get any other ideas of what i should look at doing while apart. thanks for any ideas.

Hey Rescue, when you say update all the hpop fittings, is that all years of the 6.0 or just certain years? Also how many fittings are there? I'm about to tear mine apart, 2006 6.0, and i have been getting stories as what to replace, thanks Ed

These are only on the 05-07 6.0's.....the 03-04 dont use the fitting.

I had mine swapped out when I had them put my ARP's in.
