RE hating the turbo whistle.

I am starting this for myself so I wouldnt hijack his thread.

Is there any difference in the 03 vs the 05-07 in performance? I know of the whistle because well I have it.

I dont hate it by any means but at times it can get annoying. Its kinda love hate. I love it but then it gets annoying after 45 minutes of driving through town. I am a contractor so I am constantly in and out of the truck and its alot of city driving.

I would be willing to swap someone locally if there is anyone interested.

Thats fine and dandy but If I don't have a hair dryer to replace it I dont think it would run quite the same.

weird.never meet anyone who knew how awesome a turbo is that didnt like the sound of one.me personally,the louder the better.but oh well different powerstrokes for different folks
