You can get an OASIS report at the dealership that will tell you ALL the warranty work that was done - just to confirm what he said.
If the price is low enough, it may be an OK deal. If not, I might wonder about the cause of the head gasket issue (like a tuner). Many head gasket jobs are not done right (reused warped heads, improper torque sequences, etc).
I would be somewhat nervous about it unless someone knowledgeable of the 6.0L checked it out well.
