Towing Question
This past weekend I was moving a camper for a friend and the truck got real loud. It was directly related to the RPMs, if I let off it quieted down. I was in tow haul mode and it was about 110 degrees. Is this normal or do I have a transmission problem.

Is there a quieter alternative? |

only solution would be to move to a cooler state and it prolly wont kick on

It even kicks in here in Oregon, in the mountains coming home from the coast long pulls when the temp hit around 212 it will kick on. The oil temp will be around 218 degs. The Edge is a great tool.

every time i have tried the tow hal (twice) i thought my truck was going to blow up, i never used it again, i pull a 3000 # race car all the time up & down hills & never use it,
i have a 130,000 miles on it & it seems easyer on it NOT to use it. just my 2 cents |
