Well I did it.....

My 06 F250 Lariat ......only had it for 8 months....in the shop 3 times in that time....2 sensors and a failed turbo... only 49,000 miles.....So I put it down yesterday....traded it in on a 2010 F-150 ( Gas Burner )

sniff sniff.....oh well had to do what I had to do.....

those 150s are sweet and can tow and haul pretty good for just a little truck.

Well I am not put off with the stroke.....knew of the 6.0 issues when going in...but at this time and with the warranty I could not do any of the mods.....I loved the truck but don't really need a powerstroke at this time....But hey at least I stayed with a Ford.....LOL

My roommate just bought an 06 with 108k miles, I hope his doesn't end up like that! Damn... we're taking good precautions though. Sorry to hear of your loss--but glad you kept it in the family!

Yep.....the first sensor went our the first day I had it....should have been a sign....but the oil was changed every 5000 and fuel filters every 10,000....I put 18,000 on it in 8 months...Still has 6 months on the Ford Diesel warranty...so those items were covered.....When the turbo went out I was 7 hours from home....sat at the dealer all day....At this point I just felt I could not fully depend on it.....gun shy I guess....oh well what does one do.....I really like the F-250....maybe down the road once the new 6.7 is fully tested by folks.....I might roll into one of them....
