heat wrap?

so i am tearing apart my engine to find a hpop leak and i was thinking i would like to maybe do some cheap and inexpensive things as i put it back together. i was thinking of heat wraping my intercooler and intake pipes. not sure what else i can do. i'm looking for input from you guys that have done anything like this such as heat wrapping pipes and any other ideas. i am also going to make sure my turbo vanes are in good working order while its out too.
