Filers, where to get them?
I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times. I'm deployed in Afghanistan, going to be home in two weeks or so and am going fishing. I figure I better change oil and fuel filters before the 18 hour drive pulling a 21' boat. My wife has drove the truck some, but thought it would be a good idea to change them. Where is a good place to buy oil and fuel filters online?
Thanks, Kelly |

I get mine from Dieselfiltersonline.com and you can save a little buying the international equivalent.

i buy my filters at the dealer, if you dont buy them there, make sure the ones you get are motorcraft, ive read before, the aftermarket ones are not as good, its the one item worth paying for, the only thing i buy from the dealer is oil and fuel filters.
Hope you get home on time w/out any holdups, i hate it when there are delays coming home from deployments, have fun on your well deserved downtime! |

Yes either use the Motorcraft or the International Filters.

This is where I buy all my Motorcraft filters as well. Free shipping with orders $250 and over. I've been buying here for about 3 years now and have never had any problems.

Correct on the Oil filter but the FD-4604 fuel filters have changed to part # FD-4616. I buy all of my filters at Diesel Filters,Additives, brake rotors, and brake pads for Chevy, Dodge and Ford Diesel Trucks and have for years. Waaaay cheaper than going to a dealer.
