OK now that I have the intake off I am going to remove the EGR cooler and oil cooler. I will replace the EGR with a bullet proof one, however I am still debating on the bulletprooof oil cooler. Whadda yall think? I REALLY HATE t do this twice.. I have installed a coolant bypass fillter so I am still up in the air.
Anyway, looking to see what everyone thinks I should do while I am in this far. HS and HG probably wont happen as I need to finish building my shop, then I can get a lift to lift the cab and do it right. So beyond the EGR and oil cooler, WHAT ELSE?
On a side note I am very dissapointed with my FORD dealer. I was missing a bolt out of the turbo (laying in the valley).
Also wich hose should I have off the egr cooler? mine is blue and I thought the better one was oragne, am I wrong?
I have the luxury of spending time with my truck down, so I am taking my time with this. It took me about 4 hours to get to the EGR and oil cooler so I think I am doing well.
