is there a happy 6.0 owner

i have a 2005 f350. bought it with 102000 miles and drove for 3000 miles. truck died in the road. since then i have relpaced the ipr valve added a delete kit. the ipr valve had the screen blowed out. i also replaced the stc fitting under hpop. put every thing back together truck ran for about 10 min and shut off again. will not crank back. eveyone tells me to get it running and sell it. i have owned it about 2 months. i bought the truck to use on the farm. the tech at the local ford dealership said i would always have problems with the 6.0. i like the truck and need to work with it but cant afford work on it every other week. is there any hope.

I love my 6.0. every vehicle in the world has problems. Diesel's are just more expensive to fix lol.

You didn't go deep enough on the IPR with the screen blown out, there's a screen under the oil cooler that's torn. It feeds oil to the H-P pump. It tears when debris build up on it, this happens when the oil filter or by pass valve is damaged.

sell it and buy a 7.3 or the 6.4, my 7.3 has NEVER been in the shop but for serviceing purposes, we have a work truck thats a 7.3 and it had 650,000k(hard miles) and it runs like a champ
