I design and rework harnesses for a living. I use some fairly expensive but awesome tools from Molex.
Single: HT-60923A Dual: 11-03-0044 http://www.molex.com/pdm_docs/ats/ATS-011030043.pdf Digi-Key - WM9937-ND (Manufacturer - 11-03-0043) TOOL HAND EXTRACTION MINI-FIT JR - 11-03-0044 |

so how does it work? Do you pull the pins from the back? It looks like a tweezer?

Yes you insert it from the front and then pull the wire from the rear. When inserted from the front it actually bends the retaining clips of the pin so that it can be pulled from the back. I find myself using the single more than the double. each connector is a little different as to how to remove pins but its pretty much the same scenario.
