EGR Cooler.

I had a Ford tech look at my truck. Thank goodness i didn't have bad injectors or a blown head gasket. I have a bad EGR Cooler. I was wondering If buying a EGR elimination kit would fix this or is there something else i need to do? Thanks for all your help.

Sweet. Where is the best place to buy one? I know eBay has them but I'd rather buy from a reliable source.

If your EGR cooler failed there is a high probability that your oil cooler is clogged. Plan on rebuilding it too while you are at it.

I talked to my friend today that has a 2009 duramax, and he said i should not get the egr delete and instead just fix the cooler because they are going to start emissions on diesels. Then i talked to another friend and he said that they are just doing emissions on the 09 and newer trucks....so does anyone know about any of this emissions crap? Thanks.
