ECM Strategy Roll Back MPG Test

today i had my ECM roled back to VXCF4 from VXCF9. i used to get 18-20mpg unloaded before the dealer flashed it to VXCF9. While i had the VXCF9 i would only get 15 -16mpg if i was lucky. i filled the truck up with fuel today and will post mpg log as i go. i esed to get the best mpg when i would run the SCT's canned STREET tune, so that is what i am going to start with. feel free to ask any questions i am trying to get back my mpg that the dealer took away overnight.

Truck Set UP:
-2005 F250 4x4 Super Cab long Bed
-Six Speed
-3.73 rear end
-Leveling kit in front with 1 ton coils (3.5in lift)
-rear add a leaf ( 1.5in lift)
-33.5 in allterain tires on 18 in factory rims
-4in straight pipe turbo back with aero turbine muffler
coming out infront of rear tire
-php tuned FICM non inductive heat
-SCT SF3 with Custom Tunes & Canned Tunes
-Amsoil Bypass oil Kit
-DIY Coolant Bypass from Napa
-True Flow XDI intake
-Zoodad
-Guages- Pyrometer, Fuel Pressure

Subscribing as well. I still have VXCF4 and was debating getting the updated flash but seeing the fuel economy issues it's causing I think I might just stay where I am...

How did you roll back you flash if you don't mind me asking? From what I have read ford can only update forward.

No they can go backwards as well. They have to get the as built data from ford and upload it. Its a pain in the *** but I can be done

If I had my rig flashed in Feb which strategy will I most likely have since I am like the next guy and would like to have the best mileage possible......sorry to hijack......its sorta on topic
