What injectors do you recommend?

I have been looking locally for injectors and I feel the price here is overly inflated, $350 and up just for stock re-man's. I figure for that price I might as well go for some stage 1's. I like the price on the Elite Stage 1 "Torque Tow" 155cc but I need more input to make my choice.
Give me your thoughts on who's good and who's bad (I already read about Pensacola injectors!)

I have a PHP flashed ficm on the way and a SCT x-3 with innovative tunes on the way...this is for my Ex in the sig. This id my DD so I don't want to go bigger than stage 1's.

Edge Insight CS, with universal 0-100psi sensor for fuel pressure
SCT tunes by Quick Tricks and Gearhead

Who's got stage 1's and from who?
Do you like them or should have gone back to stock?
Fuel mileage comparisons, smoke, ect...

Elite is good for used lifters and so is River City Diesel. They are the least expensive options but the start with core lifters. Ryan Casserly at Full Force Diesel and some others have stopped doing that and will only modify newly reman'd injectors. They are expensive at around $3500 but you are starting with a new lifter.

If you buy modified core lifters and have to replace one or more even with a warranty unless you do your own work the labor costs can eat up any money savings going with Elite or RCD.

XDP is offering reman'd +70hp sticks for $2987 with a 12/100k warranty that also covers standard labor rates to R&R the bad injector.

You can get stock injectors for under $225 if you shop around. Even the dealership charges way under $350, where did you find that number?

i had RCD 155's and liked them a lot you could still tow with them fine that didn't smoke a lot more than the stock sticks and it made it quite a bit faster. you might have an issue gettin em shipped to the north woods though lol...
