EOT!!
Ok guys. I have a thread on here explaining the problem I am having with my oil temps. Anyway, today on my way home my oil temp got up 232 degrees! Should I be driving this thing until I get my oil cooler replaced?
Thanks guys. I really don't have the money to blow this thing up. |

I was just reading about oil temps.
Normal=200-220 Severe=220-235 Alarm=235+ Food for thought. |

what was the coolant temp when the EOT was that hot? what was the difference between the two?

Personally I would park it until you can change the cooler. That is what I had to do to mine and my temps never got to the extreme that you are seeing. I just didn't see the point of pushing it to where something bigger happened.

Thats what I was thinking too. Park it. My coolant temp was at 190. Thats 42 degrees of difference. Not Good!!

Rebuild the oil cooler before you have some serious damage to worry about.

It's definitely time to stop driving it, until repairs are made.
