dropped my junker off at the dealer today, having ARP studs and a RCD egr delete done under warranty... cant wait to get her back so i can put the SCT on.

some ford dealerships understand the fact that you have to bend alittle to keep people happy, besides they make alittle more this way, Big ford will still get billed for the parts that arn't used, so its just alittle extra income for the dealership.

yup i am pretty psyched to get all the bs taken care of, my buddy is a master tech and he's doing all the work, he said he was gonna do some other small things that will make it more reliable over time, changing some fitting that comes apart and results in a 2k bill, some other things i forgot already im too excited to be able to finally do some work to it without having to worry about mod-unfriendly dealers.

STC fitting in the HPOP, upgraded screen in the HPOP reservoir, and there is something else in the heads that II can't remember right now. My tech did everything he could while he was in there.

He probably pro-actively replaced the dummy rail plugs and upgraded to the one-piece stand pipes. All stuff to fix problems before they occur.

how do you get the dealer to do that under warranty? anyone know anywhere near vegas i could get the dealer to do these things? I am about to get those items done, was plannin on having to pay out of pocket..

i know somebody, if i were you i would go schedule the work under warranty, tell the service desk the thing blew up, then ask to talk to the tech who's gonna do the work. you'd be much more likely to be able to convince the tech whos doing the work to put arp studs and an egr delete on while he's in there than some bum who works behind a counter who doesnt even know what a head stud is.

LUCKY!!!!! I talked to my dealer that I normally go to and I have to buy the studs and pay for 1hr of labor...... Time for a new dealer.
