Silencer

Got a dumb question........... What is the silencer ring and where is it located?

Sounds like a Cummins thing...but I may be wrong...If you are looking to make your truck louder intake and exhaust and foil delete...all depending on what year truck you have

I have 03 6.0l and was reading on someones signature that they had removed the silencer ring. I also thought it was a cummins thing.

The ring is made into the turbo. To remove it, it has to be machined out unlike a Cummins where you remove a snap ring and it pops out. Not worth the trouble IMO.
