loosing antifreeze

i have an 06 6.0 and ive been thinking that eather the head gaskets or the egr is bad. Its blowing blue smoke kinda like my 2 stroke motors blow. Untill just the other day, i havent thaught much of it and ive checked my oil and antifreeze periodicly. and every thing seemed to be how it should but then the last time i checked there is NO antifreeze in the degas bottle. the oil has no water in it and i havent noticed any comming out of the exhaust. any ideas on whats going on?

Elevate the rear od the truck, pull the EGR valve, and see if it is wet in the intake manifold. If it is your EGR cooler is leaking. If not it is likely to be the head gaskets, but it could be a cracked head too.

ok thanks ill try that but ur going to have to excuse my ignorance.. but where is the egr valve and how do i pull it? thanks again

I would be thinking of warranty if you still have miles but here you go.

well 2 things about the warentee trhe good is my brother works at a ford dealer and could do it for me.. that bad is that he told his boss or the srevice manager that im running no cat and he told him not to bring it in with or with out the cat knowing it didnt have one at one point.. thanks for the info a appreciate your input hopefuly i can figure it out
