Thermostat Change = Lesson in Patience
So, while tinkering with my tie rod ends and steering box, I noticed that my lower radiator hose had almost worn through by rubbing on the steering box. Actually, I was very lucky to still be driving it.
So I went to replace the hose and figured while I was in there, I might as well change the thermostat as well, just as preventative maintenance. This is when I decided that engineers should all be required to work on what they design. Firewall side bolt out what mind-numbingly slow because a fuel line in the way prevented the use of a ratchet and also only allowed about an eighth of a turn of a wrench. GRRRR! |

Yeah, haven't invested in those yet. Sure was wishing I had though.
