Deploying Again

hey guys i just got a short notice tasking yes back to the desert again, but was wondering if some of the older heads could chime in about good ideas for keeping the truck in good shape for 6 months while im gone, i have a friend who is willing to drive it to work every few weeks but other than that i was just poking for some info any and all will be appreciated.

not sure on everying for a diesel but when i had my car i would do this

fuel stabilizer
hook battery to battery tender
over inflate tires
steel wool in tail pipes
baking soda inside of vehicle
oil change

yeah exactly what he said, and if it's going to be stored for a while make sure the tank is filled right up so no moisture builds up. Good luck over there

put a good water dispersant in the fuel system and if it is humid where you are i would put some fogging oil in the cylinders by disconnecting the ic pipe and just cranking the truck for a few secs while fogging also be sure to get an algaecide in the fuel system and run for a while to make sure it is disperssed into the entire fuel system
