Ford's new EGR cooler vs. Bullet Proof

Ford has a new, better cooler out.
The 3 shops I have spoken to have not had any failures with them.
Is it too new, or is it really better?
Anyone have any experience with them?

I have enough info that the Bullet Proof has proven it's durability.
My biggest question with them is how well they do their primary function, cool the exhaust?
It looks like it might not be slowing the exhaust down enough. But I'm no engineer. I'm just a construction guy.

There is now doubt that Ford's original design is a turd.
I would like to believe they actually improved the design. They can't be enjoying these warranty claims. I would also think their new one has under gone the proper testing for the correct cooling and longevity.

Here are my questions.
1. Does anyone out there have any experience, knowledge or comments about Ford's new cooler?
2. Does anyone have any knowledge or comments about Bullet Proof's cooling vs. Ford?

I would like to see the new design that Ford has.. I was considering doing the upgrade to the Bulletproof cooler, but now I want to wait and see what they have come up with.

Sorry, no links.
I've heard it from 3 independants and the dealer.
But, how new is new? When did it come out? What's different about it?
I was hoping someone on here could answer that.

I have read so much I'm dizzy. I read somewhere, someone did a comparison between the stock and the BP and there was a 50 degree differential.
Can't find it so for now it's just here say.

My truck is currently down and out. I'll be making a decision tommorow.
Just wish I had more info on the new Ford part.

If Ford's EGR cooler is "new", how can they tell it is better or has not experienced any failures yet?

Ford hasnt had a new EGR cooler design since 2005 that I know of

The Bulletproof design is patterned after the 03 design (from Garrett), so I would believe that it would do the job well. Ford only changed the design in 05 due to cost...

Why not just delete the cooler ?? You dont want to suck exhaust back in your intake anyway do you ??? I have installed two deletes and they arent that hard, and cheaper. Just my two cents.

He's in California, where they have emissions testing. That's the reason I opted for the Bulletproof setup since they also test here in AZ.
