Headlight question
I just put 10000K HID's in my truck. Its got a six inch lift. I am killing the people in the on coming traffic! Does anyone know what tool I need to adjust my headlights down? It looks like it needs some kind of star bit socket. Can I just buy one of these at Lowe's or something?

You need a E5 torx socket like thishttp://www.bgstechnic.com/img/produc....php/00461.jpg
I have also heard others say that a regular 4.5mm socket works and some have been able to use a 4 or 5 mm socket. |

Would like to see your truck with those lights in it. You have a very nice looking ride! Pics!

I would also like to see some pictures. Did you do the headlights and fog lights?
Can I ask where you mounted your ballasts? I have a 6,000k HID kit sitting here to install in my truck but I havnt found anywhere suitable to mount the ballasts yet and that is why I havnt installed them. I am very anal about how stuff looks on my truck. I hate having a bunch of clutter and wires showing.

I mounted the ballasts right behind the headlights on the fender wall. I ran the wire that connects the two on top of the radiator. Just ran with the wire harness that is already there.
I will try to get some pics soon! |
