Exhaust Question NEED HELP!!

I have a 2005 6.0L PSD and it have it straight piped. I was wondering if it was worth getting an MBRP or Banks exhaust. I have the stock downpipe running to the stock pipe to a cat delete to a muffler delete back to the stock pipe and out the back. I wanted to even things out and get a legit exhaust system...maybe a 4 or 5 inch with a 6 inch tip. It already sounds bad *** and blows some serious smoke with a good turbo whistle but Ide like to get a real exhaust. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I have the 4" banks turbo back system with a 4" straight pipe with flanges welded on it so that I can take the cat on and off ,when I have to get the emissions tested, and love it! It has a real nice rumble to it and growls really good wot.

Yeah mine will scream but i feel like im puttin alot of high exhaust temps on my truck and was wandering if it was crucial to get a legit exhaust? Or will it sound, perform and do the same thing as a cat delete and muffler delete with those being the only other ppes connected to the stock muffler

I don't think it is crucial to have a "legit exhaust", I would just get 4" at least for which ever way you decide to go. The 5" might be pretty tight, at least where the spare is located, mine is pretty tight by the spare and around my hide away goose neck as well. But, I am by no means an exhaust expert, and have not looked at any 5" systems installed.

Never thought about it fitting. Guess thats why I posed this question so I could learn. So a 4 inch will be sufficient?

Yes sir it will.... Just make sure you get the exhaust turbo back. I would also get a 6" tip, mine has a 5" and I want bigger now. One of the guys in our chapter has the 6" and I think it looks great.

... yeah. I love it when the prius drivers have their window down and roll up and then let the exhaust growl in their ear.

No problem, glad my opinions helped ya.

I've read that 5 inch will not benefit you one bit. And might even hurt back pressure. 4inch is the way to go. But then again I'm no expert, but most say 4 inch.
