Coolant Filters

Hi All,

I did a lot of searching last night and I could seem to find a definitive answer. I happened to get one of the Baldwin Coolant Filter Bases (the popular CFB5000) from a buddy for free so I am building my own parts. Was hoping someone could help out with the following dimensions:

1) How big is the heater hose diameter on the truck (the pipe by the turbo that will be spliced to add the T Fitting for the coolant inlet). I think it is 3/4" but it could be 5/8".
2) What diameter heater hose should I use to enter the filter head and to return it to the degas bottle T Fitting - I assume same size for the inlet and outlet.

Thank you for all your help. Oh, and thanks to all the guys who posted and cross referenced all the replacement filters for these Baldwin bases, makes replacement easy!

i believe i used 3/8 tee for the return to degas and 5/8 tee for the heater hose splice.
