Looking at buying
Ok, new to the Ford side but not new to diesels. I currently have a Duramax (quiet now) and am looking at trading it in for an '05 or '06 Powerstroke 6.0L.
I am not really brand biased and am only really looking at doing this to help lower my monthly payment. I love the power of my Duramax and want something that I have seen a lot of and seen people towing with. I tow a big TT and don't need any trouble. Now, I have heard, from obviously biased sources, that there were issues with the 6.0L early in thier introduction. What kind of problems do I need to be aware of and what year models do I need to try and stay away from? I want to get something that is going to be reliable and (knock on wood) I haven't had any issues with my Dmax. Any pointers for a possible new Ford buyer?
