is this a good deal

just found a 04' f-350 cclb basically a base model w/cruise it has 189,xxx, 6spd. 4x4 found it at a car lot and they want $12,500 on the road, drove it and it seems pretty slugish when trying to accelarate and it would start to go good but it was blowing some white smoke out the exhaust as i was accelarating is this a alright deal and any ideas about it?

well that is what I was thinking plus on top of it the price was pretty steep for the mileage yada yada yada, but thanks guys
