I'm thinking of purchasing a 2003 6.0L King Ranch. It has had 4 injectors replaced, ICP sensor, alternator, a/c compressor, and batteries replaced. Also, a u-joint was replaced to eliminated a clunking noise in the rear end. It has 145K miles on it. The asking price is 14,500. It has a 4" lift, which the owner said was "Comfort Ride" brand. I've never heard of that. It looked like lifting blocks in the rear and I'm not sure in the front. The tires are 35's and need to be replaced. The interior was in pretty good shape for a King Ranch. Not scratched or faded. The exterior had some Arizona pin-striping, which looked mostly buffable.
I've heard of problems with the head gaskets, transmission, and injectors. What else should I look for? Is it possible for anyone to run an Oasis report? Thanks in advance. I'm really looking forward to joining the Powerstroke community. |

id say if thats all thats been done to it it may be one of the good ones. as long as its not puking coolant or starting funny when its cold or missing it should be fine. first thing id do is egr delete, sct programmer and start saving for the head studs. If they will let you hook it to something fairly heavy and go tow for a little while pull some good grades and see if its going to puke. Wish i would have done that on mine would have saved me money in the long run. the price is a little high for around here. theres 05 and 06's with that kind of milage around here in the 17 to 18k range all the time.

I'm not sure if that's all that has been done. It's not a single owner truck. If anyone can run a Oasis report for me... the VIN is
