Newbie wheel question?

I just purchased a 05 F250 4x4 with 17" wheels. I have read that the wheel spacing is different on the 05 and up. Is it possible to install older 16.5" or 16" wheels on a 05? If so will the track be wider? Thanx

Try the search function, there's a huge amount of good info on here. About your ? I can't say for positive but from what I recall you can not use the older style wheels on newer trks cause of clearance issues w/ brake calipers etc... Someone should chime in and say for sure though.
