Towing capacity of 06 F350

I am looking for the max towing capacity of a 2006 F350 6.0, for a hitch, I know there are many things that can change this but what can the truck its self handle if it had a 15Klb hitch. Any help would be great.

It's in the manual if you still have one.. Off the top of my head, I think 23K was the max with a fifth wheel. That of course is going to be lower with a ball hitch. I was thinking 12k. But maybe that was the highest you could go without stabilizers. I'm sure it also changes if you have Dual rear wheels. Mine does not.

Your truck has a 23,000 lb GCWR, a 15,500 lb gooseneck or 5th wheel tow rating, a 12,500 bumper pull rating, and a vehicle weight rating of 11,4-500 or 10k pounds depending on options. The last rating will be on the door sticker.
