Shocks
Hey guys: getting a 2.5 inch leveling kit and noted that the manufacturers all state " must replace stock shocks with ones with a 23" fully extended shock" is this a recommondation or a must?

It's a must. Your stock shocks will not be long enough to accomondate your lift. And if they still fit, they will be maxed out (extended) all the way

I just did a leveling kit, had new OEM rancho shocks and decided to keep them...one month later, shocks were crap so i bought Bilstiens. When i was installing them i held the OEM next to the new Bilstien and they were the exact same l ength.
The bilstiens i bought were made for "Stock trucks or trucks that have been leveled 2.5" But they seem to be fine so far. |
