finally ordered a RCD full egr delete kit

I finally went a head and ordered a full egr delete kit. I had a check engine light on for with the codes P0404 and P0405. I figured this would be a good time to order the kit. Me and friend of mine are going to install it. Can't wait to get it, just hope everything goes smooth.

Put that kit on a few weeks ago, nice kit. I had to cut the blue coolant hose almost in half to get it to fit, was a lil long, took me all day, but was the first time I ever worked on a ford. Could probably do it in half the time after doing it once, two guys will be a big help when removing and installing the up pipe. Oh, I did my exhaust that day too so I cut as much as I could with the torch saw.

Yeah doesn't look to bad to do just time consuming. Never worked on a diesel but I guess I'm going to learn a little about them.

I also had to cut my blue hose. It seemed weird, the clearance between the delete pipe and oil cooler pipe was almost zero. IMHO this really should be a bigger gap, and then the hose would have less side stress and would fit w/o cutting.

I agree about the tight clearance. I drilled and tapped the egr valve block off plate for my boost gauge.

I hope it's good too. Can't wait to get it and somebody just told me to replace the oil cooler at the same time.
