Emmisions / DMV issues with EGR delete?

Want to do a delete but concerned about emmision testing for plate renewal. I see alot of members here with deletes and no kitty. Anybody have probs with legality?

You won't pass the visual if you delete the EGR. Look into a bulletproof EGR cooler, shed that BD tuner and get a (the tuner you choose will turn the EGR valve off, then you just return to stock for emissions testing), then a coolant bypass filter. You should be good to go after that from what I've read . That's what I'll be doing when I have the funds
