EGR FLUSH

My Local Ford dealer offers a EGR flush to clean it out for $190. I was wondering, 1. Is that worth it? 2. Does anyone know exactly what they do maybe something I can do myself? I tried searching but did not find anything. Thanks.

Look at the thread "is this fords new carbon cleaning process" I would have to geuss that is what they are talking about. I have never heard of an "EGR flush" but that doesnt mean its not out there
