No big deal, when i turn the key off it still makes a sound like the fuel system is pressureing up, but someone said it is the injectors and that it can be fixed by having it reflashed.

Oh yeah, the famous "injector buzz", and as I recently found out, a FICM killer. I have the same reflash on my truck, but am going a different route. PHP now does remote FICM tuning, so you don't have to remove it and send it anywhere, get it done in your driveway. Check it out in there vendor section

They say you'll get better mpg, easier cold starts, no injector buzz, and there is probably more, but I'm mainly going for the mpg's

My local dealership told me the cost is one hour labor, so depending on your local rates...

Tell me more about the PHP reflash... I opted not to go the dealership route as even the service guy told me that many customers were saying they lost power and mileage after a reflash. I would like to improve MPGs without sacrificing drivability.

Why does the injector flash fill FICM's? Havn't heard that before, must not be reading enough! My truck has a several year old flash but hasn't had a lick of trouble. The buzz is load and it cold starts like a champ. It may crank for about 1-2 seconds no matter what temp in GA (down to about 15* sometimes) and it cranks right up. I've been wanting to get the newest flash with the EOT/ECT difference feature to warn me of a bad oil cooler but I'm worried about power, mpg's, cold starts, and such. It's runs awesome how it is now.

I don't know the specifics, but that's what I've read, more than once. I don't know, but I would think they could program the EOT and ECT thing in. I actually forgot about that in the new reflash, thanks for the reminder

Just to give you an idea, my brother just had his 03 6.0 reflashed at the dealership and it cost him $150. We think the six gun tuner that came with the truck when he bought it messed the computer up. I can feel that the truck has more power, better cold starts, and runs much better all around since he had it flashed. But as we all know, every truck is different.

I'll use that $150 to get PHP FICM tuning . At least I know what they are going to change, Ford doesn't tell you much
