|
what type of power steering fluid?
i know i should know this but my power steering fluid is a little low and I need to top it off. what fluid type does my 2006 6.0 liter take? i think its mercon but i'm not sure and i can't find where its listed in my manual. thanks.

Mercon V, the dealer told me i could put SP in it as well.

You may think about flushing it...very easy to do...takes about 3 qts. I used Mobil1 Syn ATF...funny thing...it smells exactly like Mercon SP.
