advatages of getting rid of my CAT?

i want to do this but wanna know how much louder and what other advantages will be if i just get rid of it thanks guys im new

A big advantage is that you will have lower egts. When I had my cat off of my truck it was alot louder and I got worse mpg. Also you can risk getting a fine for not having it on your truck.

^^ the only reason you should get worse gas mileage with a more free flowing Exhaust is if you are getting into the throttle a lot more.

My 2005 6.0 didn't change any mpg .
I don't have the egt hooked up yet but I'm sure it went down.
