Removing Serpentine Belt?
I need to remove the serpentine belt on my 2004 6.0 to check the idler/tensioner pulleys. Does the top half of the shroud come apart somehow to provide easy access? I looked at it and it looks like there are about 3 different pieces of plastic hooked together there but I didn't spot how they would come apart. I thought I would check here before I started breaking plastic parts.

I dont think so I just replaced the alt and had to call a friend that works at ford he told me it takes a smaller tool to get to the pulley and that it is a 6hr job to do the belt you have to drop the radiator
