Need Opinions!!!!

I am in the market to buy an F250/350

I found one but it is the 6.0L Engine and it has 204,000 miles (2003 F350)..
I know that ford has had quite a bit of problems with that engine so i am hesitant on making the purchase...
The truck has 204,000 miles...

Any opinions?

Shoud I hold off and find a 7.3L?

I did and I'm glad I did too. I found a 03 f250 7.3 with 78k miles for $12,800 in miami last march. I've put 30k on it since.

I got very lucky though cause it was an incredible deal. it's hard to find them for less than $15k with 120k+ miles.

dont be scared of the truck just because of the 6.0. you do the correct upgrades and the ttruck will be reliable and have lots of power. 7.3 is a great engine, tried and true, but still have there problems. it comes down to what you want. if you find a truck you like dont skip out on it becuase of the 6.0. check it over real good and if the price is rightt, jump on it.

Stud a 6.0 and get rid of the EGR system and its a great truck. I have a '03 6.0 with 203,000 miles on her. Love my truck. Truck in signature.
