Head stud progress

I posted earlier that I was having my head gaskets replaced before my warranty expired and having it studded while they're at it. In addition they're doing the oil cooler, installing my Sinister Diesel EGR delete, and talked to the mechanic today about the HPOP fitting and he is going to install the updated fitting while he is in there. Good thing I had them done cuz the head gasket were on their way south. Anyway, here are some pics as it sat today.

Yeah, I know she's filthy. I'm in Maryland with 3 feet of snow on the ground and up to another 2 feet dumping on me as I post this. It's going to be dirty for a while I'm afraid.

Sorry, Maryland is closed until further notice. I can't get out of the house lol. 2 blizzards in a week and my truck is in pieces. Go figure.

Some pics from out my 2nd floor bedroom window.

This is on the roof outside the 2nd floor window. 18" on the roof.

Shoveling out will be about the only thing going on today. Pretty much everything is closed while we dig out lol. AGAIN.

Well the snow pushed things back a bit but I got the truck back this morning and it is running great. The Sinister Diesel EGR Delete kit went on nice and smooth and is a nice high quality kit. Studs are in, oil cooler rebuilt, HPOP STC fitting updated, she's good to go.

It's nice not to have the cabin full of fumes from the bad up pipe and it did wonders for the spool up. I have a call in to Matt at Gearhead to get one of his studded tunes and will update my tunes from Eric and Vivian as well. Plus I just go a delivery notice that my Rev-X is being delivered today. I will be sending baseline samples off for analysis and then again at 5k miles. I am interested in whether this will have any effect on shearing due to the HEUI.
