Saftey Tethers?

Just bought my 05 F350 and saw there were no child saftey tethers to secure a car seat too! Any one have any ideas on this? I have heard Ford will put them in for free?

I don't use them. I just run the seat belt through the child seat as stated to do in the manual and in the pictures on the child seat.

I have a crew cab and let me tell you my son's seat ain't going no where. I use the center seat belt. It is very secured.

I have a 07 crew cab with 3 car seats in the back.
I used the seat belts and I also pulled the rear seat bolts and ran a piece of chain down to each bolt to attach the latch buckles to so the seats are a part of my truck.

I also got some seat belt things at Babies-R-Us that look like a ratchet strap that help a LOT.

I don't know where you live. But in my state. If you go to the police station. They will do a free safety inspection. They will even put the car seat in correctly and show you how you do it.

At least in Michigan they do. So you may want to call the local police station and see if they offer this service.
